Along with new players Marvin Jones and Anthony Zettel, the Detroit Lions will have more fresh faces on the field this season: Cheerleaders. Previously one of six NFL teams without them, the Detroit Lions announced today that cheerleaders will debut this season.

We always thought cheerleaders got a significant amount of attention. That is why we find it a little surprising to discover some people are surprised that cheerleaders dance seductively.

I've always loved cheerleaders in college football.  They add to the pageantry of the game and I'll never complain about a bunch of good looking chicks on the sidelines jumping up and down and cheering their school on.  I only have one question...

When you are watching the NCAA Tournament this month, expect to see many shots of cheerleaders, particularly during timeouts. And why not?
