This March, Scarlett Johansson will hit the big screen as the Major, in the live action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell, the ground-breaking anime. There's been a lot of things said about the new movie already, which I will leave to other people. What is super exciting is that the original animated movie will hit Celebration Rivertown this February!

The plan for the publicly owned property is located south of Van Andel Arena (area lots 4 and) and will be built in two phases. The $100-million first phase, which is expected to break ground in early 2017, is a partnership with Grand Rapids-based 616 Development. It will feature the movie theatre, 38,000 square foot of retail, approximately 187 residential units, a large public piazza and a 900-space parking ramp which will expand the parking supply in the immediate area by approximately 300 spaces.

On Monday night, Ned and I joined some cool winners at Buffalo Wing Wings for some free food, hung out, had some amazing wings, and gave away some free stuff at the GRD Bromance! Everyone even got free bottles of sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings before we left, which is freaking awesome! We were all really excited to head over the Celebration Cinema North, to see Ted 2! Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarl

Students who have the day off from school on Monday can see the movie "Selma" for free.
