Friday night was pretty magical. We were watching the news and saw that there would be a chance to see the Northern Lights. Surely, we wouldn't be able to see them from our house because we live in town, and the light pollution would drown them out, right? Wrong! We were stunned to see them from our backyard.
For many of us, we have heard of this phenomenon called the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights. Getting a chance to experience this natural light show is rare.
It's been awhile since we've had a chance at seeing the Northern Lights in the lower peninsula of Michigan, but for the next couple of nights there is a chance they may be visible this far south.
