A former Grand Valley State student was mistakenly identified as a suspect in a crime, and was approached by some undercover officers. When he reacted as we all would, and thought he was getting mugged, since the officers took his wallet, they tackled him and beat him severely, and choked him unconscious.

Sunday morning, about 1:45am, a Whitehall man was allegedly attacked by his girlfriend with a fish! All he was doing, according to his story, was drunkenly sketching a fish he had in his home, when his girlfriend grabbed the fish and attacked him with it. Sounds totally believable...when I drink, all I want to do is sketch fish, too.

A creepy butt-grabber is on the loose in Cadillac, Mich. Two women were accosted near Lakefront Park recently, MLive reports.

UPDATE: GRPD said in a press release they have arrested five suspects in connection with the assault: four juveniles and one 17-year-old. Earlier this week, police asked for the public's help identifying the people caught on video in an assault downtown Grand Rapids. GRPD is now saying they have identified several of the attackers, WZZM-13 reports.

Police need help identifying a group of people who attacked another man downtown Grand Rapids. Wood-TV 8 reports that the assault happened Tuesday, July 28, around 10:15 p.m. near Monroe Avenue and Louis Street, close to Rosa Parks Circle.

This is just bizarre. A group of adults viciously attacked the employees at a Chuck E. Cheese during a child's birthday party because a photo booth malfunctioned.
