Everyone has a story - and part of yours could be part of ArtPrize.

As part of ArtPrize 2021, the public will have a direct say in who gets a share of the $250,000 in prize money. In past ArtPrize events, where the West Michigan public and visitors would vote, the votes would be used to narrow down choices for expert jurors to then pick winners.

The bank was able to put art supplies in 7,000 students' reach on Thursday.

ARTPRIZE IS BACK. The competition will return to Grand Rapids September 16 - October 3, 2021.

Events will be held downtown and in various neighborhoods throughout Grand Rapids.

Touted as the world's largest art competition, the event was slated to celebrate its twelfth year in 2020. Instead, it won't be happening and, according to a release, organizers are planning to, "take time to evaluate the possibility of future events."

ArtPrize is hosting a three-part international event.

Will you be the next person to hold a world record?

The Muskegon mural features such a blue heron, black-eyed susan, water, lighthouse, music and more.

The public didn't seem to be too interested this year.
