I've been following the progress of this movie 'Hardcore', ever since I found out about it, and since I saw the incredible music video that sort of launched the whole thing. 'Hardcore' is the first feature-length action movie shot entirely from the main character's perspective. You will see exactly what he sees, and it looks amazing!
A few months ago, I found the trailer for a cheesy movie called 'Kung Fury', that looked absolutely AMAZING! It was ridiculous in all the best ways, and spoofed not only 80s TV and movies, but also the tech of the time.
Now, the movie is out, and it's everything I hoped it would be!
Combine a few different film styles, and you could really make something freaking awesome for people. Take this short film, Dying Light, where you take zombies, parkour action, and first person viewpoint, and combine them into an intense chase movie!
There's not really much in the way of dialogue here, except for the usual profanity you'll hear when people are freaking out, running from zombies, b
Hardcore is a new movie coming out soon, now that it's achieved its Indigogo crowd funding goal. It's the first action movie shot first-person style!
They did a bit of it in the movie Doom, with Karl Urban and The Rock, but only for a couple minutes. It could have been most of the movie, and Doom fans would have wet themselves.
I know, I know, the big numbers stand behind "Noah" as the huge film of the weekend. And that's great. Maybe I'll go check out this week. But this weekend, I wanted to see the new Arnold movie, "Sabotage".
So I did.
And it's everything you want from an Arnold movie, and more. This is a return to the "old school" Arnold movie, with all the boobs, bullets and blood
