St. Vincent closed out the 39th season of 'Saturday Night Live' last night with two songs. And she made the most of her appearance, turning the stage into a minimalist set that looked like the backdrop for an '80s New Wave video.

Annie Clark and her band were strategically placed on the corners of the futuristic-looking stage, occasionally busting some robotic moves from their locations. But the electronic horns and buzzing electric-guitar riff fit the tone of 'Digital Witness,' which you can watch above.

Plus, Clark's coordinated movements with her band members on the song -- as well as on the other one they performed, 'Birth in Reverse' -- were eye-catching to say the least. The blinking stage lights added to the fun. You can watch 'Birth in Reverse' below.

St. Vincent has had a pretty great 2014 so far. Besides releasing an album (called 'St. Vincent'), she helped induct Nirvana into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, unveiled her own line of coffee and will be part of a massive world tour with the Black Keys.
