Will Michigan’s Spirit Halloween Stores Turn Into Christmas Shops?
Whether you've seen them in Grandville, Walker, Kalamazoo, or Muskegon, sometimes it seems like Spirit Halloween finds you rather than you finding it. America's go-to pop-up store for all things Halloween fills vacant buildings around the country for three months before disappearing until next fall.

However, Spirit Halloween has announced its plans to enter uncharted territories and embrace a new kind of spirit: the Christmas spirit.

Spirit Christmas
Hot off the heels of a viral beef with Saturday Night Live after the comedy sketch show made a skit dissing the company's "sketchy" products, Spirit Halloween has announced that it will be sticking around and converting select locations into Spirit Christmas.
Spirit Christmas will sell Christmas/holiday "stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, fun gifts, unique décor, plus all the special trimmings for creating an unforgettable Christmas." It will also feature photo opportunities with the one and only Santa Clause.

Will Michigan Be Getting A Spirit Christmas?
Considering how the company famously moves into vacant malls and knowing that many malls around the country are dying, this could be a stellar move for the company. Currently, various locations in Massachusetts, Conneticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania have been selected as the first Spirit Christmas locations.
It is not a stretch to say that if these locations are successful in these states that one of Michigan's nineteen locations could be chosen as a future location for Christmas retailers. After all, no state does winter quite like Michigan.
