After receiving thousands of handmade masks from the community, Spectrum Health will begin distributing them to those in need in West Michigan.

In a press release from the hospital, so far they've collected 6,000 masks and are asking for people to continue the generous donations. Spectrum's VP of Supply Chain says

This will help us to reduce the community spread of COVID-19 by providing the reusable masks to the people within our communities in greatest need.”

Spectrum-associated facilities such as long-term care, home health workers and non-profits will be the first to receive the masks.

If you'd like to make a mask and donate it, drop it off at one of these locations here.

If you are part of an organization that is in need of masks, e-mail your request to covid19supplies@spectrumhealth.org.
