I have been a Detroit Lions fan my whole life. I have watched the team year after year with disappointment after disappointment. However, the last couple years have been the most exciting. I too fall into that single category of Lions fans who would rather see the team win the Super Bowl this year than find true love.

If you have watched the Detroit Lions longer than the last 3 years, you know how hard it is to be a fan after all the disappointments. Still, Lions fans are considered highly dedicated, known for their unwavering loyalty, deep passion, and remarkable resilience.

Lions fans' traits sound similar to what a good partner in love would be, highly dedicated, loyal, passionate, and resilient, but single fans of the team would rather have one thing over true love.

Love Can Wait — Lions Fans Want A Lombardi

According to Wetten.com, women value a Super Bowl win more the men. In a recent survey, 51% of women would rather see their team bring home the Lombardi trophy than find their Valentine. Men came in at 46% on the same survey question.

Among all NFL fan bases, Detroit fans want a Super Bowl win over finding their true love at a whopping 74%.  The Los Angeles Chargers fans came in second at 60% of their fan base would rather have a Super Bowl ring than an engagement ring.
