The trophy is named after legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi who led the team to back to back Super Bowls the first two years the games were held.
Former NFL coach Bill Belichick suggested that the Lombardi Trophy be renamed after a player because he said they are the ones that win the games.
Belichick suggested none other that 7-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Tom Brady. This is probably not going over well in Green Bay but lets find out what the folks of Grand Rapids, Michigan, have to say about it.

I will start with, if NFL is really considering renaming the Lombarid Trophy, they may want to wait a few years because Kanasa City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is racking them up faster than Tom Brady and currently looking at a 3-peat. Let's see what Grand Rapids has to say:
