The mask debate is such a polarizing topic, especially when it comes to your children.

The Delta variant is real and out there and it causing a surge in COVID-19 infections across the country.  This is alarming to some as the fall semester is quickly approaching for students.

So far, there have been no official mask mandates for students from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).  But, the CDC has issued guidance for students to social distance 3 feet from one another and wear masks.  The MDHHS also issued a recommendation of "masking for instructors and students, but includes physical distancing, promoting the benefits of vaccination, Covid-19 screenings, correct usages of ventilation systems, and reinforcing handwashing & respiratory etiquette."

Many Americans have reached the point of fatigue when it comes to masking and COVID-19 precautionary measures, which is probably why there hasn't been any official mandate and instead just recommendations and guidelines.

And with such a grey area in the masking debate, we want to know what you think about it.  So, this is your chance. Your chance to be heard. No one is going to know how you feel or your opinion. Vote in our poll below and let us know what you think!
