Serial Killer Sent To Battle Creek For Arraignment of 2005 Murder
A man who has been sitting in a Pennsylvania prison for murder has been shipped to Calhoun County to be arranged for an alleged murder that took place in 2005.

The state of Michigan has had its share of high-profile serial killers. Aileen Wournos is famous because when is one of the first known female serial killers. A film was made about her called "Monster." Wournos is from Michigan but killed six men all in Florida. She did admit to a 7th man but was never tried for his murder.
John Norman Collins killed 7 women in Ypsilanti. Matthew Macon killed 7 women in Lansing. Don Miller killed 4 women and assaulted a 14-year-old girl and her brother in East Lansing.
It was Gary Addison Taylor that killed across state lines. Taylor moved from Michigan to Florida where he killed a dozen women but was somehow acquitted so he moved back to Michigan. Then in Southfield Township he sniper shot 16 women but didn't kill any of them. He was later released from a psychiatric hospital and then killed four more women. He moved to Washington and then to Texas where he was arrested for sexual assault and confessed to killing four more women in three states.
Serial Killed Shipped From Pennsylvania to Battle Creek
A man by the name of Harold David Haulman III has been sitting in a Pennsylvania prison for murders he committed there. While talking with detectives Haulman mentioned details of a murder that happened in Michigan.
Haulman has been sent to the Calhoun County Jail to be arranged for the murder of Ashley Parlier who was pregnant when she went missing in 2005 from Battle Creek.
Fox 17 reported that Haulman told detectives he assaulted Parlier, and knocked her out, then drove her to a remote area where he beat her with a piece of wood to her death. Haulman later gave detective details on where to find her body but they were unable to locate her remains in two searches.
Haulman was also convicted of murder in Germany where he served his sentence for that crime.
