Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan has been with the band since its inception even back when the band was originally called Brawl in the mid-90s.

Donegan has been the riff master for Disturbed on the band's nine studio albums. Donegan has one of the most unique styles of playing rhythm guitar in the business hence giving the band its own audio signature that propels them along with the one-of-a-kind vocal sound of singer David Draimen.

Disturbed's New Album & Tour

Disturbed has a new album out called Divisive and it is a set of 10 stellar tracks from front to back. So it has produced singles such as Hey You and Bad Man and I have a feeling there is more to come.

Disturbed will be coming to Michigan on September 1 at Pine Knob. Be listening to GRD in May for more Disturbing opportunities to see the band.

I love speaking with Dan Donegan from Disturbed. Dan is a very down-to-earth guy who is a fan of music just like you and me.

Dan and I chat about what he and his family did during the pandemic, the first time the members were actually in the same place at once, how Disturbed put their songs together, and a great candid conversation on how Disturbed recruited Heart's Ann Wilson to sing on their new album. We also chatted about how Dan still likes to go see new local bands at the club near his house, touring in the post-pandemic world, and I got him to tell us guitarists what rig he uses live. We talked about family pets, football, and some of his early band names. Check out the conversation below:
