Stone Temple Pilots will perform their album Purple in its entirety and GRD has your chance to win tickets to see the show.

STP's album Purple was one of the biggest albums of the 90s. It came out in 1994 and it was the band's second album following their debut album Core.

Purple sold more than six million copies and it solidified Stone Temple Pilots place as one of the definitive bands of their generation.

There are so many great songs on Purple like Vasoline, Interstate Love Song, Big Empty, Unglued, Meatplow, Silvergun Superman, Still Remains, Pretty Penny and more.

Purple is one of those albums like Core, that you can just listen to over and over again.

Robert Deleo, Dean Deleo, Eric Kretz and Jeff Gutt will perform the whole album in a live stream Friday October 16 at 8 p.m. Here is a link to watch the show the evening of the event.

Tickets for the livestream event are only $10 plus a $1 dollar service fee and you can get your tickets right here.

Listen to Janna and Tommy weekdays for your chance to win your pass to the show. Everyone who wins also qualifies to win the grand prize which is an autographed lithograph from Stone Temple Pilots. The contest will run Wednesday October 7 through Wednesday October 14.

Also, this weekend Trevor and Tommy will have your chance to text your way to win with the GRD app.

Stone Temple Pilots are a phenomenal band live and their new singer Jeff Gutt is from right here in the great state of Michigan. He not only studied the late great Scott Weiland but he also studied his influences. Jeff nails the STP catalogue and this will be an amazing evening to watch Stone Temple Pilots.
