It's a case of synergy for Rob Zombie, who is using his platform as a rock star to help promote his other career as a director. Zombie recently started the "Twins of Evil: The Second Coming" tour with Marilyn Manson, and at the concerts he's giving fans a taste of his upcoming film, Three From Hell.

Zombie spent the early part of the year working on the film, which lives in the same world as his 2003 directorial debut House of 1,000 Corpses and its 2005 sequel, The Devil's Rejects. The central characters of Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis (Bill Moseley) and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) all return for the latest installment.

While fans attending his concerts may have already seen the film preview, Zombie posted footage from one of his gigs letting people know to "keep their eyes peeled." "It's not often you get to watch 14,000 people watch a trailer," teased the singer-director. Watch Zombie's footage of the trailer being shown in concert below.

Zombie continues to balance both his film and music careers. Three From Hell is reportedly in post-production, and Zombie laid out his plans which also include a new album while speaking with Eddie Trunk this past spring.

"We basically more or less finished the record before I started the movie," Zombie told Trunk. "We haven't mixed it yet and we haven't put the final touches on it, but it's pretty far along ... We're actually gonna start mixing the record in June, just before the tour [with Marilyn Manson] starts, hopefully finish it — I don't know if I will — go on tour, come back, then [edit] the movie." The film is expected to arrive in 2019.

Meanwhile, fans can catch Zombie on tour with Marilyn Manson and see the trailer for Three From Hell. Dates can be found here. And with renewed interest in Zombie's early films, new House of 1,000 Corpses trading cards and other merch can be found here.
