A few weeks ago, the Chilis shared they'd be hitting the road in the first part of their goofy news parody. We've been waiting to hear exactly where the tour will take them - glad to hear that the Mitten State is one of the stops!

The tour will be their first since The Getaway tour wrapped in 2017. It will also be Red  Chili Peppers first with guitarist John Frusciante, who rejoined the band in 2019 after a decade's long absence, since 2007.

Earlier this year, drummer Chad Smith confirmed the Chili Peppers are working on a "very exciting" new album. It will be their first with Frusciante since 2006's Stadium Arcadium.

Red Hot Chili Peppers do say that on their upcoming tour they'll be "performing their career-spanning hits as well as new music from their forthcoming album"!
