Alt/Rock veterans Radiohead will help kick off the 37th season of NBC's Saturday Night Live as the musical guest. This comes 11 years after their first appearance on the long-running comedy program back in 2000, when the band was promoting Kid A.

As reported by NME, the episode will be hosted by 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin, which will be his record-breaking 16th time hosting the show. This is great news as Baldwin is one of the most consistently funny hosts to grace SNL. Only Christopher Walken can be as hilarious as Baldwin when it comes to guest hosting the show.

Radiohead released their eighth studio album, The King of Limbs, this past February. The group have yet to go on a formal tour to promote the record. Their only live performance of songs from The King of Limbs to date was at this year's Glastonbury Festival. You can watch their full set below.

The season premiere of Saturday Night Live featuring Radiohead will air September 24 at 11:30pm EST on NBC.
