Prophets of Rage's debut album will be in all of our headphones when it releases this Friday, Sept. 15. To celebrate their release week, the supergroup appeared last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform their single "Living on the 110."

The group brought a tangible energy to the stage during the show, showing off the combined power of each of its parts. The instrumental section, backed by Rage Against the Machine alumni Brad Wilk, Tim Commerford and Tom Morello brought it hard, reminding you why Rage was such an omnipresent band back in their heyday. Raps delivered by the tag team of Chuck D of Public Enemy and Cypress Hill's B-Real come in a pass off flurry, the emcees weaving in and out of each other.

Aside from giving a gripping performance, you can definitely tell the group is having a ton of fun on stage, Morello bouncing around to the grooves of the song. He leads the song into a nice close, featuring the wild, unorthodox guitar tones he's known for and ending a cool performance.

Prophets of Rage have been ramping things up incrementally for the upcoming release of their self-titled effort. Last week the band debuted their new single "Strength in Numbers," a track full of huge riffs and killer range from the band. They've also released huge videos for "Radical Eyes," "Living on the 110" and the Michael Moore directed clip for "Unf-k the World."

It'll be exciting to see what the band has put together on their debut, and it will be even more exciting to see what their existence will bring to the rest of music.
