Sublime With Rome are letting fans preview their upcoming album, Yours Truly, before its July 12 release. Sample the record after the jump and see if it lives up to the Sublime name.

Record label Fueled By Ramen posted the 22-minute sampler on YouTube and so far it seems to be getting mainly positive reviews. Pre-orders are being taken right now at the band's official web store.

I like what I hear so far, especially "Only" and "Murdera". Lead singer Rome Rameriz keeps his vocals distinct while still paying homage to Sublime's past. I saw these guys last year at the Fillmore Detroit and I was quite impressed. At times, it sounded like original Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell was on stage.

Sublime initially disbanded after Nowell's death on May 5, 1996, from a heroin overdose. Surviving members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh reunited in 2009 and performed as Sublime with Rome as their new singer. The family of Nowell threatened to sue the trio if they continued to use the Sublime moniker without their permission, a threat that was supported by a Los Angeles judge. However, a settlement was reached in January of 2009 and Sublime With Rome were born.
