Motorhead guitarist Phil Campbell will be releasing his very first solo album on Oct. 25. Old Lions Still Roar is a star-studded 10-track record and the lead single, "These Boots" exemplifies that, featuring guest contributions from Twisted Sister's Dee Snider, Motley Crue's Mick Mars and former Slipknot percussionist Chris Fehn.

The song doesn't deviate too far from Motorhead's bluesy rock 'n' roll, driven by Campbell's ironclad riffing with a mid-tempo stomp. Snider's voice remains powerful as ever, even at 64-years-old, defying age like so many of his contemporaries.

As for the video, it's an animated clip expressing a tale of lawlessness as the pair of boots make their way through town, evading the police and handily dealing with a knife-wielding mugger. They eventually make their escape for good, seeking refuge on a departing ship to the chagrin of the boys in blue.

"I'm really happy to release my first solo album, Old Lions Still Roar, worldwide," Campbell said. "I'm also honored to have mega talented guests and friends do their thing. Looking forward to everyone taking a listen!"
