If there's one thing you can count on in Michigan, it's a winter with at least one good snowfall where you pull out your snowpants, lace up your boots, and play in the snow. You might make a snowman or go sledding, but the ultimate snow activity is the coveted snowball fight.

Anytime you see a snowball in movies or cartoons, you see it as this perfect sphere, like in the photo below. However, in reality, it ends up looking like the snow "ball" on the right. It still does the job, but there's something incredibly satisfying about making a perfect snowball. With just your hands, it's nearly impossible.

But with this simple trick, you could make an entire armada of perfect snowballs.

A TikToker's Secret To Perfect Snowballs

TikTok user @youngchinaclub shared this simple technique on her TikTok page last winter, and it's such a simple and genius idea to make a rather large, perfect snowball. The secret is to use a bowl that is not too deep; a soup bowl would be ideal.

As the user demonstrates, you'll want to take a mound of snow and begin making circular motions in it. As you round out the top part of the ball, you can pick it up and continue swirling the ball in the bowl until you've created a beautiful globe in your hands.
