In Herrera's first audition on The Voice, she did a great version of Fleetwood Mac's "Gypsy" but sounded so much like Stevie Nicks none of the judges turned around. Although the judges all praised her, they said she sounded so much like Nicks that they couldn't tell what Herrera sounded like. Gwen Stefani gave Herrera a lot of great suggestions, as did Michael Bublé.
You can check out Herrera's first audition above and hear the judges' comments.

Herrera took the judge's advice and came back for a second audition.
Newaygo Woman Dominates on The Voice Battle Round
Iris Herrera came back for a second audition on The Voice with an incredible reimagined version of the song "You Are My Sunshine" which earned her 3 chairs that turned around.
I admire how Herrera took The Voice judges advice and came back and tried out and showed them she has a voice of her own. Maybe having to try out a second motivated her to step up to even a higher level because she killed it on the battle round.
Herrera was up against Simone Marijic during The Voice battle round. The two performed an incredible duet of Lizzy McAlpine's "Ceilings."
Herrera won the battle and will move on in the competition but Marijic's isn't going anywhere yet because Michael Buble used his only steal to keep in her in the competition.
