A new roller coaster coming to Cedar Point in 2025 will be the tallest, fastest, and longest tilt coaster in the United States.
Cedar Point: "America's Roller Coast"
There's a reason Cedar Point is known as America's Roller Coast, you can spend a whole day there and ride nothing but roller coasters.
There are currently 18 coasters at Cedar Point:
- Blue Streak
- GateKeeper
- Gemini
- Valravn
- Rougarou
- Millennium Force
- Magnum XL-200
- Iron Dragon
- Raptor
- Maverick
- Top Thrill Dragster 2 (Which hasn't worked most of the season)
- Corkscrew
- Steel Vengeance
- Cedar Creek Mine Ride
- Wild Mouse
- Wilderness Run
- Woodstock Express
- Pipe Scream
My son and I were thinking of skipping Cedar Point in 2025 to go somewhere else but now that they are adding a new coaster we will be heading back. Plus, when we went this year the Top Thrill 2 only worked the first few weeks when the park opened and then closed the rest of the season so this would give us 2 new coasters to ride.

New Coaster Coming to Cedar Point in 2025
Coaster junkies like my son and I are chopping at the bit for the Cedar Point 2025 season to begin because the 19th coaster will be opening up is said to be the tallest, fastest, and longest "tilt" roller coaster in the United States.
The coaster is called the "Sirens Curse." The coaster is 160 feet tall but there is a twist. Riders will ride up to a track that looks like it's broken off with the track tilting riders in a straight down position and then holding before sending riders nearly 58 mph around 2,966 feet of track.
This looks so intense, can you imagine sitting in the front car as the tilt slowly begins holding you at a 90-degree angle? I can't wait.
Watch the video below for the shipping crane-like tower that drops you through two 360-degree zero-gravity barrel rolls through twisted overbanded tracks. The ride is built similarly to the Maverick so it should be very smooth, and fast, and give you plenty of weightless moments to help you recover from staring straight at the ground for seconds before being dropped. My son and I are pumped!
