I can remember in Grand Rapids when there was no Van Andel Arena, GLC Live at 20 Monroe, the Intersection was in a different location and there was still an Orbit Room.

Like any city or town, venues come and go. I grew up going to shows at Cobo Hall, Joe Louis Arena, The Ritz, New York New York, in the Detroit area and none of those venues are still around. Just like Detroit venues have changed so has Grand Rapids.
I used to drive across the state to go to the Orbit Room when it was called Club Eastbrook. Sadly that venue is no longer with us after being torn down in 2023. Even the Delta Plex stopped having shows but more venues are being built.

Name Of Grand Rapids New Soccer Stadium Announced
They have not even built the outdoor amphitheater yet in downtown Grand Rapids but everything has been approved so the 12,000-seat venue will be coming in the next couple of years. The venue has been named the Acrisure Amphitheater but before ground has been broken to build it another venue started being talked about that is also coming to downtown Grand Rapids.
The 8,500-seat soccer stadium will start being built in 2025 in downtown Grand Rapids. The Amway company purchased the naming rights for the soccer stadium and named it Amway Stadium.
When events at Vandel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheatre, the GLC Live at 20 Monroe, the DeVos Performance Hall, The Intersection, and Amway Stadium are going on simultaneously, where will all the fans park?
