Michigan residents cannot legally mail marijuana, cocaine, meth, crack, pills, and all sorts of illegal drugs because its a violation of federal drug laws.
Depending upon the level of the crime, if a person gets caught mailing illegal drugs in Michigan, they could spend up to 20 years or more in prison and be fined up to $25,000. The penalties still do not keep some people from mailing illegal substances.

Muskegon Man Busted for Mailing Cocaine Through U.S. Postal Service
According to FOX 17, a 35-year-old Muskegon man has been convicted of using the U.S. Postal Service to traffic cocaine from Texas to Michigan.
The man will spend 32 years in prison for this elaborate scheme he cooked up with a man in Texas and a Michigan postal worker. The Texas man and the postal worker will be tried separately.
The man in Texas would mail cocaine to an address provided by a Muskegon area mail carrier that was vacant and on his route. The Muskegon man would pick up the cocaine and then deal it locally.

Investigators do not know how much cocaine the men have moved through the mail since 2021, but they were caught with 11 pounds of the white stuff.
