Back in 2022, Mr. and Mrs. Crab made its Michigan debut on Burton Street in Grand Rapids. Now a new restaurant is coming to 4505 Canal Ave. SW in Grandville, in the former Hong BBQ & Hot Pot space. That means both of Michigan’s Mr. and Mrs. Crab locations are right here in the Grand Rapids area!

If you haven’t been before, the restaurant is known for combining American comfort food with traditional Szechuan spices to create bold, unique flavors. Its signature customizable seafood boils let you pick your seafood:

Shrimp, crab, crawfish, mussels, clams, lobster, and more. Then choose your sauce and spice level. Each boil comes with corn, potatoes, and sausage. Plus, you can add extras like fried oysters, scallops, calamari, and coconut shrimp.

Mr. and Mrs. Crab also offers soup and salad, plus plenty of sides including mac and cheese, coleslaw, sweet potato fries, regular or cajun fries, and steamed jasmine rice.

An official grand opening date hasn’t been announced, but the restaurant’s Facebook page says it should be sometime this month. Follow them there for updates!
