Most Don’t Wear Masks Anymore But One Michigan County Is Urged to Mask Up
Since vaccinations have been implemented most people are no longer wearing masks to fight COVID-19 but one Michigan county is urging people to mask up again.

In the early days of COVID-19, we were quickly informed that wearing a mask was one of the best ways to avoid the coronavirus and the scientists were right.
Further, into the pandemic, scientists had figured out vaccines, and those made their way to the public. Four vaccines later Michigan and the rest of the county became a safer place and the need for wearing masks has become less and less for most people.
Wearing a Mask is Still a Good Thing During the Cold Season
Like the flu, the coronavirus and its variants are here to stay. Those with weak immune systems and who are high risk will continue to wear masks as needed. Others should consider those months like October through March when most colds are spreading to avoid catching the virus. I'm not telling you what to do but I do go back to a mask during the flu season to keep from catching any type of cold it's proven that it works.
One Michigan County is Urging Its Residents to Mask Up
So which county in Michigan is rising in COVID-19 cases so much that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention urges residents to mask up again? Gogebic county on the west end of the Upper Peninsula.
According to MLive, based on the level of coronavirus infections and hospitalizations, if you are in Gogebic County or plan to visit you better mask up regardless of vaccination status to limit transmission.
