The man from Grand Rapids that has been missing since Saturday October 13 who was last seen leaving a bar in Saugatuck has been found dead in the Kalamazoo River Monday morning.

According to WOOD, the Allegan County Sheriff's Office announced that 39-year-old Justin Brown was found in an area where Kalamazoo Lake flows into the Kalamazoo River in Saugatuck not far from Coral Gables.

Brown was last seen leaving Coral Gables around 1:15 a.m. with two females after a night of drinking with friends.

The cause of death has not been released. The incident still remains under investigation.

Allegan County Sheriff's Office Captain Scott Matice said, "We're using every tool that we have available.

Brown's family and friends say he does not have any known medical or mental health problems.

A 20 year friend of Brown, Glenn Fredericks said, That's very atypical. It's completely out of character for Justin to go off the grid like that."

Police originally didn't suspect any foul play but things have changed since Brown's body turned up in the river Monday morning.
