Survivor’s Michigan Contestants Through 50 Seasons

Few people can say they've never seen CBS's long-running reality competition series, Survivor. It's been on the air since 2000, and when it hit the airwaves, it was a massive pop-culture phenomenon. It has remained a television mainstay ever since, now with fans who grew up watching it participating in the game as well.

But the show has seen a huge resurgence since the COVID-19 pandemic, and its popularity for its "New Era" is spiking at the perfect time: the 25th anniversary/50th season. This anniversary season is heavily influenced by fans, fittingly called Survivor 50: In The Hands of the Fans, with CBS having fans vote on various aspects of the game, like whether to give tribes rice or have a mid-season tribe swap.

With the show looking at its entire history for contestants this season, we're looking back at the contestants who have gone around the world and call Michigan home. Nine contestants have come from Michigan over the years, with Michiganders accomplishing many show firsts and one Sole Survivor.

Survivor is celebrating its 25th anniversary and 50th season at the same time by having fan-favorite players from over the years come back for the ultimate celebration of the show. With this blast from the past premiering on February 25th, we're looking at every contestant to play the game who calls Michigan home.
