You Fancy? See if you Own Something from Michigan’s Favorite Luxury Brand
Whether you have a six figure salary or are balling on a budget, we all love to buy something fancy for ourselves.
Sometimes your life of luxury is just allowing yourself to stop and get a coffee you could have made at home for yourself. For others, it's all about that designer label to flex that you are in fact worth it.
So if you're curious about where to spend your money to get the most compliments in the mitten, The team at Chrono24, a leading marketplace for luxury watches, has taken a deep dive into America's top brands to see which are most popular in each state.
These are the top 5 luxury brands that Michiganders want/buy the most.
5. Patagonia
Michigan loves their outdoor sports, so obviously we like to look good while we spend time outside.
We don't have a Patagonia store in Michigan, but several retail stores around West Michigan have pieces offered if you don't want to shop online.
4. Gucci
When you think of luxury brands, Gucci is always one of the first names that comes to mind.
If you want to shop their selection in person, head east. They have stores in both Troy and Detroit for those trend setters looking for one of the oldest and best known luxury brands in the world.
3. Balenciaga
You've heard all of your favorite rappers and hip hop stars from DDG to Kanye bragging about having Balenciaga on their body.
And if you head to Troy, you can get your own Balenciaga gear, which is one of the top brands people in Michigan will be envious when they see it on your body. (and no, they don't still have the weird bondage bears)
2. North Face
Not surprising that another luxury outdoor brand would make the list, the only surprise to me is that it's not number one.
You can find it in most sporting good stores if you're looking to stay warm in style, but with four stores in Michigan (Birch Run, Grand Rapids, Novi & Troy) it's also one of the easiest to find Luxury brands.
1. Louis Vuitton
Michigan's favorite brand to flex with is Louis Vuitton, which isn't surprising. From purses to suits and wallets, they've got something for everyone.
Like other brands on the list, the only store for Louis Vuitton in Michigan lives in Troy's Somerset Mall. So finally treat yourself to that purse you've always wanted instead of getting the cheap knock off you saw at the peddler's mall last week. (Trust me, we can all tell the difference)
