Michigan DNR to Auction Off Land to the Public
Have you wanted to get a piece of land in Michigan? The Department of Natural Resources has nearly 100 parcels to auction before hunting season begins.

Michigan has some of the greatest lands for camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, ATVs, snowmobiling and so much more. The Great Lakes state is blessed with large numbers of hardwoods, lakes, rivers, streams, fields, and more.
What if you owned a piece of this great state? Thanks to the DNR soon you will have an opportunity to bid on properties from under 1 acre up to 160 acres spread across a few dozen Michigan counties.
DNR to Auction a Variety of Surplus Land in August and September
Are you in the market for lakefrontage, riverfrontage, and vacant, forested land surrounded by private land? The DNR will host online auctions for 91 properties in August and early September.

According to DNR News, below is a rundown of dates and counties land will be auctioned:
- Friday, August 2 - Eaton and Livingston Counties
- Tuesday, August 6 - Chippewa, Luce and Mackinac Counties
- Wednesday, August 7 - Dickinson, Houghton, Marquette, Menominee, and Ontonagon Counties
- Thursday, August 8 - Crawford, Missaukee, Ogernaw, Otsego, and Roscommon Counties
- Friday, August 9 - Antrim and Charlevoix Counties
- Tuesday, August 13 - Alpena, Cheboygan, and Presque Isle Counties
- Wednesday, August 14 - Grand Traverse and Manistee Counties
- Wednesday, August 21 - Arenac and Midland Counties
- Thursday, August 22 - Macomb and St. Clair Counties
- Tuesday, September 3 - Berrien County
- Thursday, September 5 - Genesee County
