Man, we DO all need some good news right now, right?  Actor and director John Krasinski has stepped up with a DIY video blog, "Some Good News with John Krasinski", shot in a room in his house, complete with a sweet handmade sign.

Krasinski opens up by saying he always wondered why there isn't a news show dedicated entirely to good news. So he crowd-sourced on social media, asking us all for the stories of the bright, positive moments in our lives.

"What a week for good news it was, because yes, without question, we are all going through an incredibly trying time. But  through all the anxiety confusion, isolation, and all the 'Tiger King', somehow the human spirit found a way to break through and blow us all away."

He shares stories of the selfless healthcare workers on the frontlines to protect us during the coronavirus pandemic, heartwarming tales of neighbors helping neighbors, and tales of people around the globe making the most of their time in quarantine.

One such couple is from Michigan (at about 4:25 in), who "proved the party doesn't ever have to end", when they donned their wedding attire from seven years ago and decided to celebrate "doing stupid things around the house" while self-isolating.

And every news show needs some guests, right? Krasinski also checks in with his "entertainment correspondent" former Office co-star Steve Carrel to chat about the 15th anniversary of the show.

The first 15-minute episode of "Some Good News with John Krasinski" racked up hundreds of thousands of views in the first day.

I, for one, am a fan and can't wait until the next episode!
