I'm a sucker for Christmas lights. There's something about the colorful lights tucked around the tree that puts anyone in a good mood (and if doesn't do that for you, get help.) The lighting of a Christmas tree acts as a way to bring the community together and celebrate the holidays and the people around you.

People always say this is the most wonderful time of the year and I have to agree. thankfully, Michigan has no shortage of stunning Christmas trees decorated around the state begging for people to come see them in all their splendor. I've gone ahead and collected only a few of the wonderful displays around the state that you need to know about.

As much as I really enjoy the holidays, I am only one person and therefore I needed some help getting an idea of what other cities around the state host their own fun trees and lighting events. So, I took to the r/Michigan subreddit to ask the lovely users of there where else in the Great Lakes State has some incredible displays to see.
