There is a Slows ToGo location on Cass Ave. in Detroit. In 2015, Slows opened in Grand Rapids, but that location closed in 2023.

One copycat recipe suggest using medium shell pasta combined with a béchamel sauce and Monterrey Jack cheese. Then add seasonings like cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Top with even more cheese and Italian breadcrumbs and bake.
Additional sides at Slows Bar BQ include waffle fries, coleslaw, baked beans, and mashed sweet potatoes.
For your main dish choose from a variety of meat platters that include items like pulled pork, brisket, wings, ribs.
