Michigan Campground Offers Free Spots for Those Affected By Hurricanes
Many Americans have been displaced due to hurricanes Helene and Milton. One Michigan campground is offering free campsites to those who need them.

This has been one of the most horrific hurricane seasons in the last 100 years. Two massive hurricanes struck Florida within two weeks of each other.
Hurricane Helene has claimed at least 223 lives while hundreds are still unaccounted for. After slamming into Florida this massive storm moved north causing deadly flooding throughout Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia.
Hurricane Milton just raged across Florida two weeks after Helene. So far Milton has claimed 16 lives leaving over 3 million people still without power.
Many homes have been destroyed by hurricane-force winds or tornadoes accompanying hurricanes.
Thousands of Americans are without a place to stay due to flooding in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia. Many people evacuated to hotels, family, and friends, but many don't have a home to return to. One Michigan campground is offering a solution for those needing a place to stay.

Michigan Campground Offers Free Sites for Those Affected By Hurricanes
Many affected by hurricanes Helene and Milton evacuated north. Some people have left for good while others will need to rebuild before they can return home.
According to Fox 17, Apple Creek Campground in Grass Lake Michigan offers free RV camping spaces for those impacted by the recent hurricanes. If you have family or friends who need a place to put their RV and put up shop until the coast is clear have them call 517-522-3467. Apple Creek Campground owner Thomas Brennan says he has 30 spaces available at no cost to help out.
