Michigan State Parks Looking To Fill 1,300 Summer Jobs
There are over a hundred state parks and recreation areas in Michigan, which means there are lots of jobs opportunities available for those looking for summer work.
According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, there are over 1,300 jobs they are looking to fill with summer employees available between April and October.
Starting wages for these summer jobs begin at $15.25 per hour with flexible scheduling available. The DNR are looking for workers to register campers, clean park building, mow grass, help maintain trails, answer visitor questions, and more.
Many of these jobs qualify for a academic or internship credit for those attending college. What is great about working at a Michigan state park is you may like it so much you may decide to earn a full time job as a park ranger, supervisor, accountant assistant, trail coordinators, and more.
The only requirements for work at a Michigan state park is you must be at least 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma (or equivalent), and be able to pass a required pre-employment drug test and background check.
