The Detroit Lions had a heck of a season last year and even though playoff tickets were through the roof they are still one of the most affordable teams in the league to see.

2023 Detroit Lions Had a Great Season

There is no doubt that the 2023 season for the Detroit Lions has been their best since the 1950s.

Starting the season beating the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs. Sweeping both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings from their division and splitting games with the Green Bay Packers.

The Lions only got blown out in one game against the Baltimore Ravens losing 38 - 6. The only other losses were close games against Seattle, Green Bay, and Dallas. Don't get me started about how the referees stole that game from the Lions against the Cowboys calling back a game-winning touchdown.

The Lions beat the Los Angeles Rams with their former quarterback Mathew Stafford in the first round of the playoffs 24-23. Then beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round 31-23. The Lions lost a nail-biter in the NFL Conference Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 a game they should have won. That being said Detroit is still one of the most affordable teams to go to a game in the NFL.

Detroit Lions Has One of the Most Affordable Game Day Experiences in the League

Out of 32 NFL teams the Detroit Lions has one of the cheapest game-day experiences in the league.

I'm not talking about season tickets since they sold out last year and this year. I'm talking about the normal priced ticket, parking, a hot dog, and a couple of brews.

According to WOOD, the Lions have the fourth-lowest gameday experience at $143.70 in the NFL. The only teams cheaper to attend a game are the Arizona Cardinals at $130.84. The Cincinnati Bengals are second and the Atlanta Falcons are third with both of their gameday costs ranging between $130 - $143.

These affordable tickets are hard to buy because you buy them when they go on sale. All the tickets available now are aftermarket tickets but it's good to know to be ready for the on-sale for 2025 to get the deal.
