Charlevoix Airport Welcomes Kid Rock, Social Media Buzzes
Michigan's Kid Rock has done quite well for himself in the music business. His private jet was recently parked in Charlevoix, and social media had some fun with it.
Recently, residents of Hastings, Michigan, saw Kid Rock's jet land at their airport for the Rock the Country festival.
Michigan's Kid Rock
Kid Rock (Robert James Ritchie) was born in Romeo, Michigan, in 1971. Rock didn’t grow up 'straight out of a trailer,' as his parents owned multiple car dealerships. Rock landed his first record deal with Jive Records in 1988 at age 17.
It wasn't until the 1998 album "Devil Without a Cause" that Rock reached major success, selling 14 million copies. " Cowboy" is his most successful song, considered a pioneering track for the country rap genre. The money rolled in with singles "Picture" and "All Summer Long."

Kid Rock Touches Down In Charlevoix, Internet Reacts
Kid Rock owns a house in Charlevoix, so it makes sense that his plane would be at the local airport when visiting. Someone posted a picture of Rock's plane on Reddit, and the reactions got a little funny.
This is quite the moniker on the plane's tail fin.
I'm Rock did ever live in a trailer, he's not there anymore.
That is not very nice, but it is very funny, well, probably not to the other planes.
People seem to be hung up on STDs on this Reddit thread.
