Could Michigan Women Get Paid $5,000 to Have a Baby?
The Trump Administration is attempting to bring back many things. Now, they are trying to bring back core conservative values not just to conservatives, but to all Americans.
They are pushing for people to get married and have kids, and they are considering an incentive to encourage Michiganders as well as all Americans to take part.
Live Imitates Art Imitates Life
I love to watch comedies, sci-fi or anything that doesn't require my brain to work. My wife, on the other hand, loves to watch shows on Investigation Discovery, any sort of murder mystery and anything that makes you try to think. The closest I get to that are game shows like 'Jeopardy!'

But we both get each other into shows we enjoy, and she got me watching and caught up on a show called 'The Handmaid's Tale'. While I won't get into the full story, the basics are that America was taken over (except for Hawaii and Alaska) and is now Gilead.
In the series that is based on a novel, men and women are but into classes, or categories. The Commanders are in charge. But even though they have wives, it is the job of the handmaids to bear the children to repopulate the country. However, these women were forced into their roles.
What Will Become of This New Plan
While forcing women against their will to have babies, paying them $5,000 to willingly increase the population would likely be much more popular amongst those involved in either program.
According to WNEM, there are three plans being proposed by the Trump Administration.
The Three Plans Being Considered
According to the news outlet, 'One proposal would give every American mother a baby bonus of $5,000 cash after delivery. Another would reserve 30% of scholarships for the Fulbright Program for applicants who are married or have children. A third idea is to fund programs that educate women on when they’re ovulating and able to conceive.'
