Watch: Michigan Woman’s Kraft Mac & Cheese Rant Goes Viral

A Bay City woman is calling out Kraft because of a huge 'Mac & Cheese Fail' and many people are behind her. Her video complaint has been viewed nearly four million times on TikTok.

Abby Kreger is the director of Pet Angel Adoption and Rescue in Frankenmuth. The 29-year-old was diagnosed with celiac disease about five years ago, so she routinely buys Kraft's gluten-free original Macaroni and Cheese. Individuals with celiac disease avoid gluten because their immune systems attack gluten as if it's a threat to the body.

She tells USA Today that Krat's gluten-free Mac & Cheese is a regular go-to item.

Abby's Mac & Cheese Dilemma

Macaroni and cheese is a pretty simple formula. Whether you buy Kraft or another brand, your box will contain uncooked macaroni noodles and a cheese packet. (Some may take issue with the word 'cheese' but that's a matter for another time.)

However, in early October, Kreger purchased two boxes of the Kraft product and discovered that neither one of them contained a cheese packet.

That's not the end of the story. She emailed the company's customer support team and promptly received two coupons for two free boxes of gluten-free Macaroni and Cheese.

She used one of the coupons to buy another box, and sure enough, that box didn't have a cheese packet inside. She contacted customer support again, received another coupon, and headed to the store for another box. Yet again, she got home to find that there was no cheese packet in that box.

If you've been counting, that's four boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese, sans the cheese.

Turning to TikTok

Kreger decided to share her story on TikTok and was surprised by the number of views her video received. Other customers shared similar experiences, which prompted a call from a Kraft executive and a box of goodies.

@aceengel Hi, @KraftMacnCheese I have tried emailing and calling you abiut this problem, but your coupon seems like a band-aid and the problem isnt being solved in your production company! Gluten Free Mac & Cheese boxes do not have the sauce packet in them! I have had this happen with 4 different boxes from 4 different stores in the past 2 months.
