The old Three Rivers hospital was demolished back in 2022; but fortunately, we are able to see the insides before that took place, thanks to the guys at Ruin Road.

The hospital had been around since 1927, sitting on top of a hill that overlooked two rivers: the St. Joseph and the Rocky. After 60 years of use, the hospital was closed and abandoned in 1987.

Various people in the city attempted several times to save the building but it was all in vain. One guy who relocated to Michigan from New York City wanted to turn it into some kind of insurance or financial services building but no money was forthcoming so that idea was scrapped.
