In Michigan, we are now officially in spooky season, with Halloween only a few weeks away, and with that comes the weekend adventures of going pumpkin picking, going to the cider mill to get some donuts and cider, and also visiting some haunted attractions throughout the state.

There are a lot of different places you can go to get your fright on, whether it is at Nightmare Realm or Erebus, there’s clearly no shortage of haunted attractions to get in the mood for the creepiest time of the year.

But if you were looking for a creepy and fun location to go with your friends or family there is a spooky place in Michigan that is safe to take the kids while also being able to enjoy all the creepiness Halloween has to offer in the state.

Easily the best town to be during Halloween outside of Salem, Massachusetts of course, could be Tillson Street in Romeo, Michigan. Sometime ago residents on Tillson Street decided to decorate their yards for Halloween.

What has happened since has been an explosion of decorations, and now every household on the street practically dresses up their house uniquely for Halloween. Now known as Terror on Tillson Street, this is a free neighborhood to walk through and enjoy all the way up til Halloween.

In fact, they celebrate anyone with kids to bring them trick-or-treating on Halloween night between 6 PM and 8 PM. Below, you can watch a video of a walk-through of Tilson Street from a few years back, and just elaborate on some of these yard displays can get.
