When Michigan plays at Michigan State on October 21st at Spartan Stadium, it will be a night game for the second straight year.  That's according to the Action Network and noted college football writer Brett McMurphy on Wednesday afternoon:

The game will be broadcasted on NBC that night.  Noah Eagle and Todd Blackledge are expected to be on the call for that game for NBC.

Last year, Michigan beat Michigan State in Ann Arbor at night, 29-7.  The now-infamous tunnel incident at Michigan Stadium occurred after that game.

There has been no official word from NBC as to if the report is accurate.  But if it is, that would make four night games for the Spartans this season.  They'll open the season on September 1st against Central Michigan, they'll be at Ohio State on November 11th at Ohio State, and they'll play Penn State at Ford Field on November 24th.  The Washington game will be played in twilight on September 16th at 5pm on the Peacock streaming service.

The rest of the Spartan football kickoff times will be determined at a later date.
