The Detroit Lions under head coach Dan Campbell and quarterback Jared Goff don't so much play a game of football - rather put on a football carnival. Unique trick plays often happen in games to the surprise and delight of the team's fans and consternation of their opponents. The Lions recently named their top trick plays of all time.

The Lions recently uploaded a video with 30 trick plays to YouTube. The team's choices go back to just before the Dan Campbell era with the vast majority of the plays being in the MCDC-era. You'll see plenty of fake punts, onside kicks and catches tossed by players who aren't the quarterback. This is Offensive Coordinator Ben Johnson's deep playsheet on display.

It's interesting to see Campbell's aggressive philosophy take hold over the course of the trick plays. Even in the mire of the coach's first year when the team went 3-13-1, the trickeration that is now the team's hallmark was on display as it was being refined.
