Never Leave These Things In A Hot Car in Michigan!
This heat wave has been extraordinary, hasn't it. Record high temperatures and high humidity has not only made it super uncomfortable but extra dangerous as well.
We are so used to leaving things in our cars without thinking. But with all this heat, and even on a cooler day, the interior of our cars will really heat up. So here is a list from the Motor Biscuit.com website, of key things to never leave in your car.
1. CHILDREN AND PETS!
This is a no-brainer! How many stories have we heard/read, where a child or pet has been left in a hot car with sad outcomes.
2. FOOD AND DRINKS
Cans of pop may explode, plastic water bottles will release harmful chemicals into the water, and of course food will spoil.
3. MEDICATIONS
Even if they are over the counter, they can become dangerous.
4. CELL PHONE AND ELECTRNICS
Big time damage can be done to your phone, laptop, pad, whatever with extreme heat.
5. BATTERY POWERED DEVICES
Chargers, flashlights, might explode, or leak to create a fire hazard.
6. SUNGLASSES
We all probably leave sunglasses in our car so we have them the next time we drive. Don't do it. They could warp, so if you do leave them, put them in a case.
7. AEROSOL CANS
Here we go again, they could explode!
8. LIGHTERS
These could become highly flammable, not a good thing.
9. CRAYONS AND ART STUFF
Another no brainer here, they will melt!
10. ATHLETIC GEAR
Golf clubs, tennis rackets, yoga mats can all be damaged. The may warp, whatever, but remove them when not using.

I always leave my golf clubs in the car. Now I know why my game went south. Do you think I can claim warped clubs on the course? Probably not.
