Why Were They Called The Wealthy Street Boys?

The gang was named after the street where they were based, Wealthy Street.

I have such a hard time imagining gangs running wealthy street and parts of east town because of how nice things are today.

My wife Lindsey has told me stories about her uncle whose now a retired GRPD officer had to patrol the Wealthy Street area into East Town back in the 1990s.

He said back then that was the most dangerous area to patrol.

What Were The Wealthy Street Boys Doing?

The Wealthy Street Boys were known for their violent tactics and were involved in several shootings and murders in the area.

They were also known for their territorial disputes with other gangs in the area, which often led to violent confrontations.

The bust was the result of a long-term investigation into the gang's activities, which involved the use of wiretaps and undercover agents.

The bust was seen as a major victory for law enforcement in the area, as it helped to disrupt the gang's operations and put an end to their violent activities.
