A DoorDash driver in Walker, Michigan got quite the surprise over the weekend while out making deliveries.

The Walker Police Department shared the story on their Facebook page Monday.

According to police, they received a call from a driver who had a cat get into their car at some point while they were out making deliveries.

Officers responded to the driver's vehicle and started searching for the curious kitten, which they eventually found wedged under the dash of the car.

The officers, Bindus and Stevens, were eventually able to get the kitten free from under the dash (did they have to use the 'paws' of life?) The kitten was then turned over to a dispatcher from the Kent County Sheriff's Office who was able to care for the sweet kitty over the weekend.

I've often heard of cats and kittens crawling up under the hoods of cars to keep warm, but this is a new one.
