Farley rose to fame as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" in the early 1990s.

He was renowned for his physical comedy and memorable characters like the motivational speaker Matt Foley.

However, Farley's life was tragically cut short in 1997 at the age of 33 due to a drug overdose.

Hauser, a native of Saginaw, Michigan, is known for his ability to seamlessly blend humor and sadness, often playing characters that are equal parts lovable and complex.

In preparation for the role, Hauser has been immersing himself in Farley's life, studying old "SNL" sketches and interviews to nail down the comedian's distinctive mannerisms and vocal cadence.

Paul Walter Hauses had this to say about playing this role,

"Chris Farley was a true comedic genius, and I feel a deep responsibility to do justice to his legacy, This is more than just a role to me - it's an opportunity to shine a light on the complexities of Farley's life and the challenges he faced as a performer struggling with addiction."

The biopic, which is currently in pre-production, is expected to explore Farley's rise to fame, his close friendship with fellow "SNL" cast member David Spade, and the personal demons that ultimately led to his untimely demise.

I've always been a huge Chris Farley fan from the first time I saw him on "Saturday Night Live" and in movies like Tommy Boy.
