We all love to romanticize our lives. You've probably watched a movie at some point and thought to yourself "I wish I could be that character". But, did you ever think that trying to be like that person on the screen could make you rich?

One recent Michigan Lottery scratch off ticket winner said that the main reason he won a massive jackpot was because he wanted to live his life like a movie he just watched.

The man shared his story with the Michigan Lottery when he picked up his prize, saying that the only reason he won was because he wanted to be like the character in a movie he had just watched.

The anonymous man was watching a movie recently, when a character that he says was his look-alike went to buy a lotter ticket, and won a massive jackpot. Inspired by what he saw, the 26-year-old man went to the E-Z Stop Food Market in Flint and bought a Lucky No. 13 Instant Game.

He brought it back to his home, scratched it in front of his friends and couldn't believe what he saw.

When I saw I’d won $500,000, I couldn’t believe my eyes [...] I wanted to make sure what I was seeing was real before sharing the news with my friends, so I went into the bathroom to look the ticket over again.

His eyes weren't lying. Thanks to being like the movie he just watched, he now has a half a million dollars in his bank account.

So what is he going to do with winnings? Easy- he says he plans to take care of his kids with the money, and to take a vacation. Sounds like a picture perfect ending to this incredible lottery story.
